I'm J.D., writer and lover of urban fantasy. Vampires, shifters, witches and demons; if it's dark and deadly, I'm all for it.

I love books, urban gardening, healthy recipes, traveling, and so much more. Join me on my wild ride of a life.

This. I need to get my thoughts together and get some writing done soon. New ideas, new characters, beautiful, beautiful plot bunnies, COME TO ME, MY LOVES, I’VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH.

Human potential is the same for all. Your feeling, “I am of no value”, is wrong. Absolutely wrong. You are deceiving yourself. We all have the power of thought – so what are you lacking? If you have willpower, then you can change anything. It is usually said that you are your own master.

Wow… that’s just beyond insane.

Wow. These “Fans” aren’t really fans if you go to such lengths. I’d NEVER in a million years try to hurt one of my favorite actors.

I’ve some exciting news! My short story, Something Else Entirely, is being made into a comic! I can’t wait to see it! <3

Why does one begin to write? Because she feels misunderstood, I guess. Because it never comes out clearly enough when she tries to speak. Because she wants to rephrase the world, to take it in and give it back again differently, so that everything is used and nothing is lost. Because it’s something to do to pass the time until she is old enough to experience the things she writes about.

Have you ever felt like the world was out to get you? These past few weeks since I’ve returned from Japan have felt like a constant uphill battle.

I won’t get into the weeds here. I’ve barely had time to sleep, let alone keep up with my social accounts.

I’m tired.

But I’m hoping things will get better soon. If not, my sanity may suffer. I’ll try to post more, but it may still get quiet from time to time.
